ADHD & Psychoeducational Assessment

Psychoeducational assessments are designed to investigate concerns related to learning, academic performance (i.e., reading, writing, math), concentration, and focus. They can be empowering and beneficial for anyone in a learning environment, from children to adults. They assess academic and intellectual abilities to understand a person’s potential, provide strategies to support their learning, and may result in a diagnosis. Assessments include standardized measures, observations, history taking, and interviews. Common diagnoses include ADHD, Specific Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, and related emotional or anxiety disorders.
